About Me
My name is Robert Leverington and I am a student currently living the the Bedfordshire area. In enjoy system administration and programming in my free time and have a variety of skills in this area. Currently I have an advanced understanding of PHP - used a great deal in web application development - and an intermediate grasp of Visual Basic.net, a proprietary language by Microsoft that helps to streamline software development. A lot of my time is also spent developing websites which I do both for my own projects, and for clients such as individuals and small businesses - see my portfolio for an example of websites I have created; content management systems used by me include MediaWiki, Wordpress and Drupal. I have a very long term experience with the Microsoft Windows environment and am able to offer assistance with and maintenance of Windows XP systems. My understanding of computer environments also extends to the GNU/Linux area and I have very thorough knowledge of the Ubuntu platform - both the server and desktop variations.
